Project Prompt:
The final project of the semester challenged each student to design for a chosen program
typically found within an art museum. Housed within two 40’ shipping containers, all cars
must facilitate movement throughout the entire train and must “open” and “close” — in
other words, be usable whilst either traveling or stationary.
The programs chosen in this project were an observation area and a wine bar, both designed to
work with and merge into one another.
